I'd give it 6 stars if I could.... minor spoilers
First let it be known, I'm not a huge Vampire Academy fan. The books are good but they are far from my favorite... until now. This book was fantastic! Rose's time over is Russia has so many ups and downs. The emotions Richelle Mead puts us through just blows me away. There's action, humor, tender moments, moments that tear at your heart strings and even romance if you can believe it. I find it hard to believe that some people think this book is filler. It isn't. We learn more about Dimitri and even meet his family... FINALLY! Rose meets some people that will end up being important to her in the long run. (I hope) I just can't say enough good things about this book. Read it... I really don't think you'll be disapointed.
