Eclipse (The Twilight Saga, Book 3) by Stephenie Meyer - Compelling and uplifting

Readers captivated by Twilight and New Moon will eagerly devour Eclipse, the much anticipated third book in Stephenie Meyers riveting vampire love saga. As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob --- knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. Compelling and uplifting
This third book in the Twilight Saga is a compelling read. For the fans of Twilight, the movie, and also New Moon, this is a satisfying continuation of Edward and Bella's relationship, with enought conflict from a third, Jacob, to carry the story forward and show each character in detail. The book is an easy enough read to keep younger readers engaged, but complex enough to keep an older, more mature reader interested and engaged.

Speaking as someone who was "allergic" to Vampires, I find the vampires created by Stephanie, in the Cullen family, easy to befriend, and even admire. I held back in becoming involved with the whole Twilight experience, until just lately. Since experiencing the movies, Twilight and New Moon, I have purchased all of the books in paper form and in audio book format.

This book has some great action and life lessons for young readers all envloped in a beautifully created fantasy background with a compelling plot and conclusion.

I would recommend this and the other Twilight Saga books especially for young readers, but also for more mature readers as well. There is enought love for the ladies, and good action and conflict for the guys. A great read.
