From Slave to Slayer is an excellent prequel to Book of the Horseman, by Todd Allan. This book is a very well written account of the life of the main character, Alundra. Understanding her difficult past makes understanding her present situation much easier. Full of action and adventure, From Slave to Slayer kept me guessing about what would happen next to the fascinating, beautiful girl named Alundra. I highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys a great, compelling book that constantly keeps you guessing.
